I've just started a new blog, titled "Blind Men of Hindustan" about my attempts to understand the shape of the New Media. I signed up for NewsVine because it seems to offer a variety of functions for uncovering interesting news stories around the world.

I'd be very interested in hearing what others have to say about NewsVine, and what they've found most useful about it. As an aspiring journalist (yes, my timing sucks), I'd particularly like to hear how this service is helping you get your stories out to the public, as well as any other functions that are useful to journalists.
